You can visit from Westford or Manchester and take advantage of 24.7 acres of Benedictine Conservation Land. It’s used year-round, including in the winter for sledding, snow-shoeing, and cross country skiing. Popular activities include picnicking, bird watching, archery, and hiking on short trails through the woods and fields. You can even sign up for Summer Family Archery!
This 63-acre park has several different facilities, including Chubbuck Road Field, a multi-purpose field, and additional fields designated for basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, pickleball and skateboarding. You can also use the three miles of trails for jogging, walking, and mountain biking, or sign up for summer camps like In the Net Sports Academy.
This smaller park has a few acres for camping, scout groups, hiking, and picnics. This is a good option for a quieter day of getting closer to nature.
This park includes three miles of hiking trails and snowshoeing in the winter, with 200 acres of open space. Pulpit Rock, formerly known as “The Devil’s Pulpit” is a rock formation in the center of the conservation area.
The Riley Field Complex is a massive park with a variety of outdoor sports facilities for baseball, softball, skating, tennis courts, and more!
Waterfowl Park, as the name suggests, is a great bird watching destination. While it offers 7.6 acres of beautiful scenery, the walking trail is only about a quarter mile long. So get some good binoculars and get ready for a relaxing day outdoors.
